#HaikyuuAngstWeek2021

Have a cup of tears on us!
A Twitter Haikyuu fan week dedicated to those with cold, bitter hearts.

Haikyuu Angst Week is hosted and moderated only on Twitter.

What are trigger warnings?
Trigger warnings (TWs) are used to warn people of topics that may cause them to have a strong negative emotional and physical response to a topic.

Why are TWs necessary?
Trigger warnings are important to help people avoid content that may trigger them. Twitter has a user feature that allows people to mute words, such as triggers, so that tweets with TWs related to their trigger do not show up on their timelines.

What counts as a trigger?
Anything could potentially be a trigger for someone. Please refer to our list of common triggers that should be tagged. If you think that a subject (that is not already listed in our common triggers list) could potentially be triggering for someone, please tag it as a trigger. It’s better to be safe than sorry!

Common triggers that should be tagged include:
Cheating, Blood, Violence, Self harm, Self-deprecation, Illness, Suicide, Eating disorders, Death/MCD, Hospital, Homophobia, Drugs/Alcohol, Weapons (Sharp Objects, Guns, etc.), Abuse (Verbal, Physical, Emotional), etc.

Formatting TWs:
When tagging triggers:
-do not censor the topic (examples: bl**d, *lln*ss).
-specify the trigger, do not only include “trigger warning” or “TW //”
-include TWs in the first tweet of a thread

Twitter’s mute feature will not filter these words resulting in those who have the TWs muted will end up seeing related tweets on their timelines!

Accepted TW formatting:
-TW // trigger , trigger or TW // blood , illness
-TW : trigger , trigger or TW : blood , illness
-TW//trigger,trigger or TW// blood

Spacing variations between elements (slashes, commas and words) do not matter as they will still be muted on timelines.

Not accepted TW formatting:
-TW // x does not specify trigger
-Trigger warning x does not specify trigger
-TW // tr*gg*r , tr3gg3r or TW // *lln*ss, d3@th x censored

For the safety and wellbeing of everyone, Haikyuu Angst Week will not be retweeting entries that do not follow our rules/guidelines and do not have proper trigger warning tags!

Why wasn't my entry retweeted?
There are various reasons why your entry may not've been retweeted. The first reason may be that the mods accidentally missed your entry! The second may be that you did not include proper trigger warnings or included NSFW in your entry. Please remember to review our rules & guidelines.

If your entry was not retweeted within 24 hours and abides to our rules, please DM us so we can resolve the issue!

Can I use more than 1 tier for prompts?
You can use as many tiers as you want for entries if they are prompts for the same day. If you would like to combine prompts from different days we ask that you wait until Day 7 to post them. Bonus prompts can be used for any day.

Are entries allowed to have a happy ending?
Yes! As long as angst is the main focal point of the entry, any type of ending (happy, sad, ambiguous, etc.) is allowed.

Can I submit an entry in a language other than English?
All languages are accepted! However, we can not provide translations for entries that are not in English. Please also remember to include relevant and proper trigger warnings.

Can I submit an entry that is an older work of mine?
Yes, as long as the work is angst themed you may submit previously made works! Please make sure you when you are submitting your work that you include the day/prompts, our tag #HaikyuuAngstWeek2021 and trigger warnings. If your entry does not include any of the given prompts, please post in on our Free Day!

Is there a word limit (minimum/maximum)?
There is no minimum/maximum amount of words required for written works. We appreciate all entries created, no matter how long or short they are!

Will this account be used for retweeting entries or just for posting rules/prompts/etc.?
We will be retweeting all entries on this account as long as they abide by our rules and guidelines! If you would like to refer to our prompts/rules/etc, please check out our Carrd!

Will Haikyuu Angst Week be tracked on other platforms like Instagram and Tumblr?
We will not be hosting and moderating this event on other platforms. However, you are free to post your entries outside of Twitter!

Will you guys be giving out free tissues and paying for our therapy after Haikyuu Angst Week is over?
We unfortunately are unable to provide free tissues and therapy for participants of Haikyuu Angst Week but tears and emotional distress are on us!

If you have any more questions and concerns, please do not hesitate to DM us on Twitter! We will get back to you as soon as possible.
